At The Style Guru, we make fashion work, and we call it style. Not the "Add it to the cart" kind of style or the one that is only as good as the last event you attended. We're talking about the kind that makes someone stop and say, "It's just something about you, girl. You always look good."

Looking good for us is synonymous with feeling good, and at The Style Guru, our goal is simple: help women shop smarter, dress better, and build confidence. Our sauce? Style as a skill. It's not just a compliment on your shoes, a designer piece you bought, or how your jeans fit. The difference? It's always been you.

How We Do It  

June 16, 2023 marks the day our city felt the presence of none other than Gabrielle King — "G" — The Style Guru herself. She stepped onto the fashion scene with wit, edge, and expertise, and one clear mission: to serve you. Fashion clarity in one place *cue angelic singing*.

G is a woman who knows you. She knows your shape, where you want to be after 5 o'clock, and how you want to leave every morning radiating confidence, boss, sexy, and put together all at the same time. She is aware of your needs, at least your fashion ones, and her foundation is real: a degree in Apparel and Textile Design, years in retail, a career in finance, and motherhood, all before coming back home to fashion for good. If your list of life experiences is long, multi-hyphenated or just full of you working your way back to your dreams, then you have a lot in common with The Guru herself.

And sis, you and I reap the benefits. The Style Guru is about every woman discovering her personal style and the beauty that shines within her, just as she has.

For our anniversary we want to celebrate elevation, curation, and connection; which means we want you to encounter the confidence and clothes you deserve.

The thing about style is everyone wants it, and not only that, it needs to be developed. The lie is believing that a designer piece or a weekly shopping haul somehow adds up to style. That's our "get it quick" culture selling you something it can't deliver. Let me keep it straight with you. Wasting money on clothes from stores you don't actually resonate with isn't going to get you there. And just because your phone gives you access to every sale, every drop, and every haul doesn't mean you need to participate. More is not more. Not when it comes to style.

Here's the alternative scenario. You have somewhere to be, or some way you want to feel; and not just this weekend, but all. The. Time. There's an unrealized desire to get more out of your everyday dressing experience, to stop overthinking and overspending. You want the fit to do the talking, serve body, and be versatile enough to wear again.
